Eclipse integration for distributed review

SmartGit mailing list
Has syntevo given any thought to integrating the distributed review
functionality with Eclipse?  The concept is fantastic; I demoed it for
colleagues at work and they were all immediately sold on the idea.
However, most of the team uses other git clients.  The one technology
all of us use (or we can insist people use for common purposes) is
Eclipse.  The fact that distributed review is only available in SmartGit
is unfortunately a showstopper.

A great benefit of integrating distributed review with Eclipse would be
that the full source is available.  We typically use Atlassian Stash for
code reviews via pull requests; frankly, reviewing code via diffs can be
a pain.  Stash allows you to gradually expand the amount of source it
displays, but having full source available would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks.

We don't have plans to write an Eclipse integration for Distributed Reviews, but we are happy to support such a project, if someone else would do. Basically, we could provide the low-level API to store "notes" (not git-notes) and the high-level data structures for Pull Requests and Comments.
