GitLab Integration

SmartGit mailing list
Gitlab is a great alternative to Github and it would be nice to see similar integration.
 The API is well documented:

And as GitLab have bought Gitorious, they are certainly the most powerful
tool that you can install for free on an intranet.
I am currently looking it for our company.

What features in detail would you expect to be present in SmartGit here?

I'm confused. SmartGit can already talk to any git repo - so nothing is
stopping you from accessing Gitlab hosted repos. No "extra integration"
is required.

Hi Marc,

First level of integration should be associating the account, and then
listing hosted groups & projects on GitLab.

Then generating merge requests in the GUI would be a plus.

Basically the same feature you provide for Github.

Here are some ideas that come to mind:

Accept and create merge requests
 Review and comments and commits

Auto complete of issue ID's, merge request ID's and @mention in commit logs would be a bonus. I'm not sure about performance implications doing that.
