sshClient.scriptPath bug

nwhite
I installed SmartGit 6.0.7 on a new Windows 8 box and when I tried to syncronize an existing repo, I get the error:

"Synchronize: Please set the VM property sshClient.scriptPath to a directory without spaces in its path and restart SmartGit/Hg!

SmartGit/Hg creates a small script in the temp directory to launch its SSH client. Unfortunately msysgit contains a bug which makes remote Git commands via SSH connection fail if the path of the configured SSH client contains spaces. See http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/issues/detail?id=313 for more details."

When I try to go to the link, the project has been moved and there is no other information. How do I set the VM properties correctly or how do I install in such a way that I don't get this error?

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this problem! It is an obsolete check from older versions of SmartGit. Please use Help|Check for Latest Build to get SmartGit 6.0.7 (build 3162) which should solve this problem.
